First Day of Work

I survived my first day of work. I rode my bike to work. I got there by 8:30am and started in wiping down some candy molds, then I worked with another lady to package candy. That takes a lot of time. Next, came making turtle candies, yeah, my hands were covered in chocolate. No, I did not lick my fingers. I do believe I will really enjoy my job. There is a lot of work to be done, not much down time. I will definitely keep busy all day. My kiddos were hard at work on the dishes when I got home, which was great! I need to get a little more organized and have something in mind, or started for dinner on the days I work. I am sure we will get into a nice little groove with this whole work thing.

By the way...I have no temptation at all to eat any of the candy, it did not even appeal to me yesterday. As much as I like candy, I like it when I am in the mood for it, working on it all day yesterday did not tempt me at all...guess I am just a little weird like that...lol.
